How Lillie's Began
Lillie's Leaping Learners was founded by Gabrielle Simmons, a young entrepreneur with a background in early childhood education, special education, and family support. After witnessing firsthand how overwhelming it can be for families to find reliable childcare and practical in-home help, Gabrielle set out to build something better — a transparent marketplace of independent providers dedicated to making family life a little easier.
The business was named in honor of her great-grandmother, Lillie Simmons — a woman whose love, strength, and deep commitment to family left a lasting impression on everyone she touched. That legacy of warmth and dedication lives at the heart of everything Lillies Leaping Learners does.
What began as a vision to bridge a real gap for families has grown into a full-service family support marketplace. Today, Lillie's Leaping Learners connects families with independent providers for babysitting, tutoring, housekeeping, home organization, laundry assistance, and a range of other in-home services — all coordinated by a team that takes the matching process seriously.

Our Provider Screening & Onboarding Process
Lillie's Leaping Learners takes provider safety and reliability seriously. Providers complete an application and onboarding process before being considered for family opportunities. Screening requirements may vary depending on the type of service being provided and the assignment.
Application Review
We review provider experience, qualifications, availability, service areas, and the types of assignments they are interested in accepting.
Interview & Communication Review
Providers may complete a phone, virtual, or in-person conversation so we can learn more about their experience, communication style, availability, and fit for our family-support network.
Documentation Review
Depending on the service, providers may be asked to submit identification, certifications, driver's license, vehicle information, insurance documentation, or other relevant credentials.
References & Experience
Professional or personal references and previous caregiving, transportation, education, or family-support experience may be reviewed as part of onboarding.
Safety Requirements
Certain assignments may require additional screening, background checks, CPR/First Aid certification, driving documentation, or other safety requirements before a provider can be matched with a family.
Ongoing Reliability
Provider responsiveness, communication, professionalism, and successful completion of assignments are considered when determining eligibility for future opportunities.
